The yuzu rice bran oil introduced here is unique and very rare. The correct recipe was found after two long years of research. Before settling this delicious oil, we taste many different yuzu oil in Japan, based on olive or sunflower oils and flavored with yuzu citrus seeds or artificial aroma. Fragrance was really nice but taste very bitter or absent.
Our target was to use a neutral vegetable oil, suave, smooth, unctuous, able to absorb and preserve the fresh and delicated yuzu fragrance and light pleasant bitterness. Rice bran oil is offering these possibilities. By flavoring it with natural yuzu skin and 100 % natural yuzu essence, result is amazing. Taste is deep and, on top of it, this oil can be used under cold condition but can accept as well to be heated. Chefs and Chefs Pâtissiers will surely appreciate it.
