Maruyama craftsmen follow the development and growth of the green tea leaves very closely, day by day, to ensure they are harvested at the best moment. The fresh leave are then steam roasted to avoid oxidation... and to reveal the strength of their taste ( very mild fragrant pleasant taste of plants ).
