Deliciously handcrafted union of strength and sweetness, sesame paste is made from a mix of the best sourced sesame seeds harvested at different times of the year and hand roasted in iron pans. They are then stone ground, cold. The paste obtained, a little countryish and not completely filtered, appears "homemade", tasty and aromatic ... All the sesame goodness is there!
Perfectly suits
Sweet or savoury, dishes made with sesame paste are almost perfect : ice cream or pastry, ganaches, faisselles, fromages blancs, but also sauces, vegetables, pasta, poultry, wild fowl, white meat, sandwiches and vinaigrettes.
An idea from the chef : bring together a dish of fresh cuttlefish tagliatelles and a few spoonfuls of Yamada Seiyu sesame paste... A unique taste experience !
