Yamasei whole, cooked and sweetened red beans are exclusively elaborated with Hokkaido island Azuki beans. They come from farms practicing a 'reasoned' farming method where the use of chemical fertilizers is reduced by half.The skin of the beans has been completely removed from this paste through sifting. Its use is well known in the elaboration of western or Japanese pastries. You can also spread it on bread for breakfast, a real delight. We really appreciate its well balanced sugar content.
