
Maruyama craftsmen follow the development and growth of the green tea leaves very closely, day by day, to ensure they are harvested at the best moment. The fresh leave are then steam roasted to avoid oxidation... and to reveal the strength of their taste. The Japanese drink green tea every day. We have chosen the best, harvested when perfectly mature, strongly flavoured and no bitterness.
What is special is this roasted tea can be infused cold as well as hot.
Once infused there is a pleasant, golden blonde colour.
We recommend it is drunk in the evening because it contains very little caffeine and tannin.
This tea comes in individual 2 gr. sachets.
We recommend a 60 second infusion in 100°C water.
