Maruyama craftsmen follow the development and growth of the green tea leaves very closely, day by day, to ensure they are harvested at the best moment. The fresh leave are then steam roasted to avoid oxidation... and to reveal the strength of their taste. The Japanese drink green tea every day. We have chosen the best, harvested when perfectly mature, strongly flavoured and no bitterness.
What is special is the delicious mix of green tea, matcha tea and genmaï puffed rice.
Once infused there is a pleasant, quite bright green colour and and a typical puffed rice aroma.
We recommend it is drunk in the morning when you wake up.
In Japan, purists recommend it is drunk after cleaning your teeth so as to have a fresh mouth which can fully appreciate all the flavours.
This tea comes in individual 2 gr. sachets.
We recommend a 60 second infusion in 100°C water.
